DEMERARA is a top down raglan pullover with a simple cable panel running in the front, designed for child sizes. I had fun designing this as a response to my 5 year old’s request for a “snow sweater”. 🙂 
I hope this turns out to be an enjoyable knit for you as well.

Choose your size according to the desired ease. 
E.g. : For 2” positive ease on a 24” inch chest, use the instructions given for for 26” finished chest circumference.

SUGGESTED YARN Any DK or light worsted weight yarn.
YARN USED IN SAMPLE  
The sample was knit using Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Worsted (100% Superwash Wool – 220 yards / 200m per 100gms/3.5oz) in Pumpkin Spice colorway.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 
Chest Circumferences 24(26,28,30,32)inches;(61,66,71,76cm,81)cm.
Upper arm circumferences 8.5(9.75,10.5,11.5,12)inches; 22(25,27,29,31)cm.
Sleeve length (from underarm to bottom hem)
12(14,15,16,18)inches;(30,36,38,41,46)cm.
Body length (from underarm to bottom hem) 10.5(12.25,13.5,15,16.5)inches;27(31,34,38,42)cm.
GAUGE
22 st and 30 rows to 4”(10 cm) in stockinette stitch using 4mm (US 6) needles. 
Before measuring, please ensure the swatch is washed and blocked the same way the finished garment would be washed and blocked.
