ELEMENTARY COWL

Elementary Cowl is knit in the round with an alternating garter stitch and brioche ribbing pattern. I love the way brioche and garter always work together. They build each other up in texture and colors blend really well too. They both provide great rhythmic knitting and make incredible squishy fabric.

I came up with this design as a way to enjoy some lovely yarn using these stitches and make a fun accessory. This project can be a mix and match adventure. There are a few different brioche motifs available to knit. You can create your own unique design by choosing to work with different combinations of motifs. Or you can choose to work only with basic brioche ribbing and garter and still create a stunning accessory.

Things can be changed dramatically by using variegated, solid, gradient or even mini skeins. There are options to knit the pattern in fingering or DK weight yarn.

Test Deadline: Aug 30 2022
